Chris Sutton believes nothing has changed at
Manchester United since David Moyes and Louis van Gaal were in charge of the club.
Jose Mourinho was frustrated on Saturday as he watched his team grind out a 0-0 draw with Burnley, despite having 37 shots on goal.
Manchester United now sit eight points behind currently leaders Manchester City with it all to do if they want to stay competitive this season.
Former Chelsea boss Mourinho was brought in after two disappointing spells in Red Devils history under David Moyes and Louis van Gaal.
But Sutton believes the "brand of football" at the club is still a problem.
In the above BT Sport clip, he says: "David Moyes was heavily criticised, Louis van Gaal was heavily criticised, what has changed?"
He concludes: "When you look at the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City and Tottenham, they are miles ahead of Manchester United."
Sutton is not the only football pundit to be critical of the Red Devils following their disappointing result with Burnley at Old Trafford.
Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp said the team have no chance of winning the league and no longer scare teams in the way they used to.
